There have been some recent threads regarding auction image galleries and comparisons between AW's storefronts, paying for eBay's gallery features, Auctiva, Honesty, etc.
Now, the common problem with most galleries is that eBay requires that the link only take buyers to eBay auctions. Buyers must then click on a second link to access your auctions at other sites to be in agreement with eBay's TOS. And for your interest, I notice that Yahoo (no, I'm not currently listing there since fees were implemented) also has something in their TOS prohibiting links to anything other than Yahoo auctions.
I don't know how many of you might still sell on both eBay and Yahoo, but how would you go about satisfying both TOS? On eBay the link would have to go to only eBay listings with a second click required to get to the Yahoo listings. On Yahoo the link would have to go to only Yahoo listings with a second click required to get to the eBay listings. Sound difficult, almost impossible?
Not really. And you don't have to have galleries at 2 different places either.
I have found a way! Quite accidentally, but I have. And not through any of the places I've mentioned in the first paragraph.
