Hi,

I know this is probably a stupid ?, but could someone please tell me, is the URL over the image that you want to insert into the listing the one you would put in the URL section on the eBay listing?
Thank you!!!

Hello huniedue2. Don't you know there's no such thing as a stupid question?

I assume your photo is stored somewhere on the web. If so, just click on the photo and copy the URL from your browser's address bar and paste it into eBay's listing page. Don't forget to add the tag <img src= > around the url.

hunie.....

Another easy thing to do is "right click" on the image, and go to "properties"...the url will show up in the littlew gray box to your left...you can copy and paste from there too.....

I use this feature a lot, because I list my pics on Zing, and need to click thru 3 screens to get to the "original image"...by right clicking, I can just copy the URL for the thumbnail, then backspace over the extra extensions to get my original jpg.

If you're using the space on the eBay listing page for inserting the URL of your picture, you DON'T need the img src tag or the http part. The listing form does that for you. All you need is the part that says www.yourisp.com/yourimagename.jpg (or .gif).

And make sure you include the suffix, be it .jpg or .gif Some browsers won't be able to see your picture without it.
