I am helping a friend by setting up an eBay auction for her. I am a Billpoint seller & do not deal in Paypal. She (of course!) has chosen Paypal for her CC payment option & I haven't a clue on how to add the Paypal logo to her item description...Would really appreciate it if someone could explain how to do this....

Tell her to go to PayPal and login. Next, select the "Sell" tab, and click on the "Add a PayPal logo" link. There is a choice for "Automatic" and "Manual". I've never used the automatic type, so I don't know how it works, but if you click the "Manual" link, you come to a page with the logo options that are available. You copy and paste the desired HTML code from the PayPal page to your item description. That's it.

If you choose automatic, then it inserts the logo's automatically. Each day it searches for any "new" auctions, and if it finds one, it inserts the logo.

I prefer not to have anyone else doing anything "automatically" to my auctions, if it is something I can easily do myself.
Another possible downside of the automatic method would be if you do not want to offer PayPal as a payment method on all your auctions.
I found doing the copy and paste thing to be simple- you copy it once from the PayPal site for your basic auction description, and just use it over and over.
