I'm using 4.7 and about given up finding a working link for Netscape Composer's Page Wizard. The one I've found on the site is broken...I've reported it 3 times with no result.

The link within Composer itself just sends me to a page on Netscape promoting their own websites.

I wrote their "free" email support and they recommended I call phone support...of course, that costs $29.00 on your credit card...

A working link would be much appreciated, if one even exists....

The links from this page worked for me.

The DSL service I have has an agreement with Netscape to use Netscape. I got a CD of Netscape stuff with the service.

I am not a big fan of Netscape and only installed what I HAD to install to run the DSL. I found this page in a help file that came with the programs. I don't have a clue about Netscape Gold.

The link didn't work for me either?

Toke, if you have IE, try opening the link up with IE, that's what Smw uses for a browser.

Heya, reddeer...

Great idea... I tried it...didn't work, unfortunately. Phooey. Netscape support is kinda non-existent, to say the very least.

I want to try the bovine site...maybe if I spend a couple of months, I could make a web page??? At this rate, it's not looking good...

Hiya Toke

Check this site out, plenty of info to be gleaned for HTML, FTP, & building web sites.

smw's link worked fine for me. I firmly believe that all ISP aren't created equal.

Uaru ..... The link worked for me as well, but the Page Wizard link on that page did not work. I believe that's what Toke meant as well?

Toke: I am going to send a message to Netscape via the link provided by my DSL service and ask if there are other ways to access the Wizard.

I'll try to find out if you have to be some how affiliated through your ISP or whatever to access the Wizard.

But remember...AOL bought Netscape and AOL is AOL....

Thanks again, everyone. Yes...it's the Page Wizard link itself on smw's link that won't work for me.

I am now assured by my email support guy that I won't be charged for the phone call...however, the phone is forever busy...

So, I'm just sitting here, punching redial (with some degree of vigor) over...and over...and over........

I heard from my DSL support. The message is a generic cut and paste that the Wizard is part of my "Netscape package" that comes with the service.

Since this provider has an agreement with NS to FORCE it's subscribers to use Netscape the Wizard is supposed to be "perk".

From I can tell from the stuff I got with the service you have to somehow subscribe to Netscape Gold, (whatever that is), to have access to the Wizard.

It looks like Netscape isn't giving anything away... There also seems to be a way to have access by setting up a Netscape Web page?

Reddeer: Oh yeaah... what makes you think I use IE??

Thanks for the info, smw. Maybe that's the trouble. My ISP used to support Netscape, now it doesn't. I've just kept upgrading the package they initially gave me. Staying away from 6, though.

Would you believe that 800 number is STILL busy? I have to work a B&M auction tonight...maybe I can get them in the wee hours when I get home.

I'll probably end up bagging the whole thing and using that great page you gave me, reddeer. This is too much effort...Page Wizard just couldn't be worth all this.

Toke

Here's another site with plenty of info on HTML etc. Near the bottom of the page, you'll see ME Page in big red font, next to it is a drop box for "tutorials". It might be worth checking out as well.

I know that everyone hates the Spawn of Redmond but I think you can still get a free copy of Front Page Express...

Does Netscape have it's own FTP for the Compuser that we can upload to? (I'm soooo new at this)!
