Just learned that term - bombed - and that's what it feels like. I sent 2 items to a regular buyer who has always been pleased. A few nights later she emails me to say she didn't leave the 2 negs for me. Someone else left them using her id and password as retaliation. We both contacted ebay but they wouldn't do anything about it without a mediator. Then, if they did remove it, she wouldn't be able to leave positive in return.
I responded in my feedback that she didn't leave the negs and she followed up to confirm and said my products were great, deal with confidence.
So, what do you do when you see feedback with negs? Do you look for the statements or just look at the totals? I have a rating of 239 so in a month or so someone will really need to dig to find the narratives.
Need an opinion please. Would you go thru the mediator process?

Hi sorry that happened to you. How awful. But you may be interested in Ebay's new feedback rules, see at Ebay's announcement board.

I too always check feedback. I use the Vrane Feedback Widget to zero in on the negs, so I don't have to scroll through pages and pages.
I take into account the tone of the neg, the recipient's response and any other responses, and I often also check the FB of the person who left it.

I would pay the piper and go through mediation to have them removed. Many potential bidders will look at your feedback profile and see 2 red negatives and move on without even bothering to read the comments.

Joanne, thanks for the feedback finder. Didn't even know about this and will use it a lot. I appreciate the opinions.
