Some of my very best buyers send payment via express mail. This is a guaranteed service, and if the payment is even 1 minute late, email that GREAT buyer that cannonballed your money, and let them know that when they get the slip back in the mail, they can walk into their local post office and get their 12 bucks refunded.
No skin off your teeth, the post office gets their feet held to fire to provide the service they get paid for, and your GREAT buyer gets a free ride for getting you your $$$ quick.

even better for shipping during the holidays. How many of us waited a week for priority only to be told "2-3 days, not guaranteed" I did pay the extra to have some holiday items mailed Express which still took 2-3 days however if not there when promised it's FREE, and I did get the total shipping refunded to me.
