It's out on the street..the marriage of Microsoft & ebay.

I think your analysis is dead-on eventer. And we probably won’t even be invited on the honeymoon but will still get #*&%$#@
I love this part: “The agreement is expected to increase eBay's influence beyond its mainstay Internet auction site, as it sets out a programming standard for software developers.”
Can you say “HOT BACKUP”?
I believe that this may be one of the final signs of Armageddon.

Hmmm, "Bride of Frankenstein" immediately comes to mind.
Lord, I hope they don't decide to have children!

You would think that Gates learned his lesson ... I can see it now. I'll have to change all my shipping labels to read "United States of Microsoft"

LOL!, Bill.
Marrying her off would be a whole lot cheaper than the new horse I just bought for her. I'll be an indentured servant to ebay for the rest of my life.
Just returned from 5 weeks of her horseshowing in FL & she's set her mind on the son of Canada's most famous equestrian. Lord help him!
Now accepting charity.

Big Ben Junior? OHMYGAWD!
LOL!
Seriously though, showjumpers are an expensive hobby, that's why I like to sell re-educated racehorse to rich mommies and daddies in H/J land.
Dressage is au currant now, so rich mommies and daddies are forgoing the new Mercedes for nice finished numbers for the kiddies. (Most people don't get dressage, but it's magic to me.)
I have to confess it here that I am so glad that I had that job with the retired cavalry officer when I was younger.
I love america!

LOL, Capriole! Mr. Captain Canada Junior has been put on her "watch" list.
Though we still think Daddy is MUCH more handsome even if he did accidentally let his horse run into my daughter this year at HITS.(Hmm, now that I think about it, maybe I should have asked for Mont Cenis in lieu of damages).
My daughter does 3 day eventing & show jumpers, so you know what that new Preliminary level horse just set me back!
When she did h/j, I used to get a kick out of watching her win on an $800 pony against those kids on 5 figure horses.
Thank goodness we only have to do Dressage for Eventers (replace "eventer" w/"dummies" and you know the level of which I speak).

I love kicking butt on a $1,500 barnsour retread...hehehe. My faves are great movers with poor ground manners - I have a few cowboy tricks that gently nip them in the bud.
No dummies! Only smarter riders!
Besides, never underestimate a super fit horse!

I purchased my quarter horse for $200 as a two year old. We started jumping him when he was five and now at 15 is a well seasoned hunter. (We foxhunted) I would go neck to neck with any of those fancy-smancy high dollar horses. Now if you want to talk about me, I get my leads mixed up in the ring and prefer foxhunting. (no animals are killed)

As long as he's smart enough to keep you out of trouble over quirky fences, I don't care if he gallops backwards!
$200 what a score!
Never underestimate cast-offs.
