I just read a post where another seller asked the members of this community to critique her EOA letter. I've been selling for several years and have used the following EOA notice. However, I would be very glad to hear any comments/suggestions on how I could improve this. Is there anything I'm leaving out? Anything I'm putting in that is too much? Let me know what you think. Thanks for your help!
Congratulations!,
You were the high bidder for the AUCTION ITEM! Your final bid was in the amount of $xx.xx. The s/h for this item is $x.xx for USPS mail. If you live outside of the US, please contact me for alternate shipping arrangements. This brings your total balance dueto $xx.xx. Please send payment by either check or money order in US funds to the following address:
MY NAME
STREET
APARTMENT
CITY, STATE ZIP
Please do not send any mail that requires a signature. It is a pleasure doing business with you!

I think it 's ok. simple. I personally have a ton more info because I run alot of auctions, so I need to make sure they are not emailing questions about my EOA instructions.
maybe format it so the numbers .. totals are easier to read say like this:
Your final bid was in the amount of
$xx.xx. s/h for this item is
$x.xx USPS mail. your total due is:
$xx.xx (make this bold)
If you live outside of the US, please contact me for alternate shipping arrangements.
maybe move this up...or below the final tallies.
ask for their address in advance, so you know they recieved your message. maybe only half will respond.
give them a inkling of your payment time frame.. a 14 day payment suggestion (or whatever works best for you)
..inform them you'll leave feedback when payment arrives.

I like it - brief & to the point. If I made any changes I'd throw in a thank you somewhere and if you've ever received payments for less than the full amount I'd put the amount due FIRST (seems to be a known fact people don't read!!) Your total is $xx (X bid price + X s/h).

Looks good but add "Sorry No PayPal" if you don't take PayPal or send "PayPal payments to- (email addy)" if you do. Same goes for Billpoint. You should probably also mention insurance.
