This was on the ebay announcement board yesterday. Is this something similar to what AuctionWatch offers?
*** Introducing Seller's Assistant and Seller's Assistant Pro from eBay. ***
We are pleased to announce the introduction of Seller's Assistant Basic and Seller's Assistant Pro auction management tools. These tools are designed to help you save time while easily managing your eBay listings. All new customers receive the first 30 days of their subscription free of charge.

Seller's Assistant Pro does all of the above and also allows you to:
- Schedule when your listings will be submitted

I believe that sound was the last nail being pounded into AW's coffin.

How much will Ebay charge us for this after the 30 day free trial? Sounds like a good package. It owuld be nice to streamline our business to one site instead of several different ones.
I will be keeping my eye on this one

Looks like by the time you pay for sellers assistant and any extra pictures Auctionwatch is looking cheap.

I think that I'll go check this out. AW has stated that they will not accept checks or Money orders for their payments, so they have bacisally lost me as their customer. It will be nice to have billing from one account aslo!

Hardly Kat! Why would you pay to host pics at eBay? Waste of your money! There are dozens of places to host your pics for free, so you'd pay only the $5 flat monthly fee for the program. (Plus your pics would look tons better than the crappy ipix pictures...) AW is way more expensive than this...

Hi netfish, actually I do not run that many auctions so my auctionwatch bill would be less than the $5.00.

Gotcha', Kat! I am still using the 'ol calculator and trying to find the best value for me... So far writing my own html is the cheapest! LOL! I just don't know how good at it I am...

Seller's Assistant Basic & Seller's Assistant Pro are the old Auction Assistant, originally developed by Blackthorne Software.
Originally you purchased the package for life (have we heard this one before??) and got the upgrades as ebay changed.
Recently they sold out to ebay (in more ways than one) and now our "free" upgrades are history.
Previous purchasers get a 1 year "free" upgrade period IF they subscribe to the monthly pay program after that 1 year period.
I've had it for several years & it's a nice program but still doesn't meet all my needs. The AW program had some nicer features.
And I agree w/nefish. There's no reason to pay ANY site for picture hosting w/so many places offering "free" website space.
I've hosted my own pictures for years. It takes a few minutes (okay, okay, hours in some cases) to learn the basics of FTPing them but then it's simple, easy & FREE.
Some free sites even have an FTP program built in where it's all point & click, you don't even have to set up the information.

Netfish, actually you gave me a good comparison, if my bill runs more thant $5.00 I will have to rethink. I think there will be some months that it will, but most of the time it will be less.
