Okay, Democrats, you need to rein in your Senators, Representatives, and your party. Three different democrats have either written new laws, or are proposing such for taxing internet sales.
Democrats, I am serious, you need to be contacting your Senators and Representatives about this issue. The law which bans such a tax expires in October of 2001, this year.
With the current condition of the .com’s this proposed tax is ridiculous, or course in my opinion it is ridiculous anyway, and would be extremely difficult to enforce, (it would probably be about as successful, and expensive as the “war on drugs”).
Democrats, the party of high taxes and endless give away programs is at it again.

The absurdity of the usual claims of lost revenue is made more painful by the fact that you can't tell a tax-and-spendaholic anythng.

Democrats AND Republicans need to contact their Representatives and Senators and make thier views on this known.

My Republican Senator also proposed internet taxes. Next time, don't vote for a Democrat or Republican- taxes are designed to keep you working harder. If you think your taxes go to a good cause, think again. Most of it wasted. These government agencies either spend what they are given or get budgeted less next time. If you enjoy working harder to pay taxes to support government waste, then your productivety is going to waste too. My vote is for the Libertarian party. They will never propose internet taxes. Internet taxes will kill your ebay business.

here here!! (as the british say)
to quickdraw29!!
There is very little difference between democrats and republicans in the level of taxation, it's just that the democrats want to use the tax code to also redistbute wealth.
The internet has been booming BECAUSE there is little govenement intervention. This is goign to change unless YOU do someting to prevent it.
