Well, maybe you should be thinking that as you "smile from the wrists on down."

I'd reply by saying what you've told us:
First instance of wrong address, first I've heard about it from buyer.

Then I'd e-mail him and see if it can't be worked out (although if that's his feedback, he might not be the work it out kind of guy...)

while i love 'eat s & die'- i like what you've told me

this dork never responded to repeated emails and i neg'd him a month ago something like 'auction ended 12/15 no payment as of 2/11' & he decides to write today?

i don't care to work it with him, i sell all one of kind things & somebody else will want it

sigh...

and! auctionwatch does my wbn's- so there is no way he got a wrong address

maybe he doesn't know how to transpose what he sees on the screen to an envelope or something

grr

It's probabally just a retalitory neg.

But There are a suprising number of people who cannot address and envelope properly.

Don't sweat it. Nobody cares about negative feedback. I see people with clusters of three negatives in a row and people still sell to them, people still buy from them. And after the deal's done, they leave the same deadbeat positive feedback (because said deadbeat was on best behavior, not wishing to get that fourth neg) like "Terrific buyer!!! An asset to eBay!!! Highly Recommend!!! A+++" A few of those and nobody even bothers to look at the negs. After a few weeks, it's like they were never there ...

The real problem had to be was that the postman couldn't read his handwriting. So our friendly Mr. Postman delivered his payment right back to him.

Don't worry about the neg.

If you want to feel better, check my feedback on eBay.

After a while, you get used to negs . . .

eastwest, WTF are you talking about? I DONT sit here all day, this is the first post I've made at this board for almost a week. I *do* have a life outside of eBay...but what on earth does that have to do with someone seemingly flaunting/boasting about a ridiculous amount of negatives they had?

How can you rack up 59 negs like that??? Damn! I'd think ebay would have suspended you long before you got 59! They didn't sound at all good either. What happened?

edited to add: I have 3 negs with over 1100 postives, and still do not like the 3 I have, I hate seeing those red numbers!

I would, and never will, get "used" to seeing Negatives. I have 7 negatives between 2 ID's and close to 500 positives. 6 were reatalitory and one was for an absurdly stupid reason that had NOTHING to do with ebay. I hate that they are there and certainly double that I'll ever become accustomed to seeing any in my file.

Patel, are you trying to give Hindus a bad name? Or, just India in general?
