My messages to the winning bidder on ebay keep bouncing. It's been over a week and he hasn't contacted me. How can I get his phone number or some way to reach him?

Sorry to say, but you are out of luck.
The same thing happened to me last week when a bidder won of my auctions. His/Her mail bounced back as well. They haven't contacted me either. Needless to say, they were a new user with a 0 feedback rating. The only thing you can do is wait until your 10 day waiting period (after end of auction) is up and file a Non-Paying bidder form through EBAY in order to receive your fees back. There is no way to find them or get EBAY to help you out.
Sucks to be a seller sometimes, huh?

A few days ago I received a money order in the mail as payment for an item sold in a large dutch auction. The money order was blank except for my name, the bidder's email address, and the auction number (which was pretty much useless to me with 68 winning bidders on this auction). The envelope had the bidder's address but not the name.
Since I hate to send a package to just an address without a name, I clicked the link to pull the bidder's contact info using the email address provided. It didn't work. The screen just blanked out and at the bottom it said "Done." I tried again with the same result. I tried repeatedly for about 30 minutes.
I then gave up and emailed SafeHarbor to ask them to send me the bidder's name. I already had everything else and they could see that I was the seller and this guy was a winning bidder on this auction.
They wouldn't send me his name. They said the ONLY way to get ANY contact information is to use the link to pull the contact info. They even gave me the link (again) in the email. I tried it again and of course it still didn't work. I wrote SafeHarbor again and they basically said "tough".
Well, I kept trying every few minutes and finally around 10:00 pm it went through. For the life of me I can't uunderstand why Ebay won't even give the seller the name of one of his winning bidders.

Thanks all-especially to missdona for her help. I was able to get the buyers name & phone number thru ebay's search--user id history. I appreciate the help. Now she is aware that I am here and we can complete the deal. thanx again
