Me too, same problem for days. On Sympatico HSE? The only way is to log on here:
https://www.safeweb.com/
Then go to eBay and search. The jury is still out as to whether this is eBay or Sympatico.
Bothering both of them constantly might be a good idea. Hope this works in the meantime.

Although the sign off is somewhat ironic, here is the problem: (see above for work around)
Thank you for contacting us.

If you are unable to access this page, that is likely to be a result of
a major Router (border6.toronto.istar.net) in Toronto experiencing
severe problems.

For the past 24 hours there has been 0% Traffic, 0 Response Time, and
100% Packet Loss through this router! Judging by the area you are in,
this is likely to be affecting you. Unfortunately, we have no control
over this and will also not be able to provide a way to fix it.

You may want to check the current status of Internet network problems by
checking the Internet Weather Report at the URL listed below. Please
note that this site is not affiliated with eBay.

I wish you the best with all of your eBay transactions and I hope you
have a great day!

Ebay is still FUBAR!

Has been (for me) since the maintenance of last Friday. I'm not in Canada, so it's not that router. Traceroutes DIE at the borders of eBay territory ... so they screwed up

http://webveil.com/matrix.html and try a diferent route through an anonymizer.

Right, eBay refuses to connect Bell Canada Symapatico Hi Speed ADSL user!
If you use simpatico dialup connection, it works great no problem.
All because Sympatioca HSE uses PPPOE, it will timeout when try to surf eBay.

ALL OF TORONTO IS DOWN.
SYMPATICO OF COURSE SAYS IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT.
RIGHT ALWAYS PASS THE BUCK SYMPATICO.
THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET INTO EBAY UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED IS TO USE DIAL UP.
