hi.i sell records on ebay..i use the large flat priority box for lps..it is the one that is about 15" by 21" ..leave it flat..take a razor and cut off the 2 tabs that dont have glue on them....wrap a little whole newspaper around your lp..slip it in..add a little cardboard in the back if you like..seal it and you are done..get one of those large boxes and look at it you will figure it out..i ship as many as 5 lps in one of those..for little 45s i sandwich them between 2 pieces of 8" by 8" cardboard tape it shut and slip it into a 9 by 12 manilla envelope i get at staples for 5 cents each..put your address label on(i make my own)..they will ship 1st class for 1.20..the lps ship for 3.95 for up to 2 lps..3 lps are 5.15..4 to 5 lps are 6.35..i buy record boxes at www.123pix.com for overseas sales..the boxes hold up to 15 lps and are about 60.cents each..hope this helps

You dont really Have to wrap record in anything 33s and 45s are very tough.
I have shipped 78s these are a different story and I find foam rubber is needed these wont take much bumping around and they are have it cost me $19 and change to ship 12 78s.
Records albums and singles can ship media rate for $2.33 per album but will take up to 10 days to get to your buyer I ship all my records priority I make my own mailer out of priority boxes people have no complants paying for priority or parcel post shipping.
if your records have no sleeves or jacket wrap each in in light paper like wrapping paper to avoid scratches and scuffs.
you will find very little profit in selling most records as the shipping cost is high and holds down the biding.
Been a record collector trader and seller for 30 years now use to be you could send a reacord in the mail for .25 in them days there was good profits for mail order in records today the only people makeing profit is the Post office .

I use pizza boxes (new, of course ) to ship records & laserdiscs. Just turn them inside out and voila! I sandwich the disc between two slightly larger piece of cardboard & wrap with bubblewrap beofe placing in box. Seal box, address & ship. Even shipping internationally, I have never had one arrive broken.
Personally, if were me on the receiving end, I would want my purchase to be packaged with a bit of care--no matter how "tough" a record may be.
