I got my first records up and they look good; I was also happy yesterday to find that a batch of OP history books was not yet flooded with copies on the site. Guess we'll see how they do.
I don't have much experience using the site myself, aside from one time searching for a novel that I wanted. I don't see any ISBN searching [do you put that in the record?] and no subject categories.
Do you have tips for maximizing the "findability" of the records? How do buyers find your stuff, do they have a biblography with the author and title they want? Or do they search keywords listed in the record?

Good Luck, Keziak and let us know how you're doing over there.
As far as I know, people have to know the title or the author to find your item but I guess it would come up on a keyword search. That would be a long long list tho.
I did buy one book off of there but mostly used it as a reference to see if a book was worth selling or not.
A Bibliofind search is by title; author; "any other word"; prices between X and X; and books added "at any date" or "previous day"; first edition; and signed/inscribed.
If you click on "community" at the Bibliofind main screen you can then search bookseller by name or email address.
However, in most cases, the above (re "community" ) is a moot point. Very few people use Bibliofind to search: the main "portals" are ADDALL and BOOKFINDER.

I checked ADDALL and it does have an ISBN search option. Do you recommend including that in a Bibiofind record?
I checked one title: my Bibliofind item came up, along with two listed on ABE. This title is available from another seller on Bibliofind but only his ABE listing came up. This makes me wonder if ADDALL screens for redundant listings across multiple sites.

We have shopped on Bibliofind for sometime now and unless we are looking for a particular book title to enter, we have just entered a particular subject and gotten pages of books with that subject.
We finally made the plunge (as we deal in books too) to open an account there. We are excited to see how it does. Good luck with yours.
