I was notified by Billpoint that a buyer's electronic check payment failed. I checked their feedback and there is a neg for bounced check and another neg for no contact. I know it will probably be a transaction that's not completed, but.....
When I contact the buyer, cause I'm willing to give them a chance, would it be okay for me to require payment by money order only????

That sounds like a fine idea. I wouldn't hold my breath, though, they don't sound too trustworthy! It's worth a shot!

Any chance that you can take to get your money is worth it at this point. If they fail to follow through with a M.O. you'll be no worse off than you are right now. NPB and FVF either way. And who knows, they just might pay up.

Thanks so much! Think I'll try for the postal mo... I like that idea.. and if the transaction doesn't happen will definitely follow through with NPB and FVF forms.
I've been away today since first posting and have wondered - When an electronic check payment fails, does the buyer's bank charge them (the buyer) a fee like it was a returned check????
