Don't know if anybody can help me or not... About 2 (3?) weeks ago, I had started reading a thread that was all about sites in which to learn html, etc. for your eBay auctions.

I have looked high and low today to try and locate the thread again and I CAN'T FIND IT!

Can anybody help me? I tried the site search as well and came up with nothing.

Is there an easy way for one to find older threads that have disappeared from the first page? I have been up to pg. 22, skipping some inbetween ~ I know it is probably easy but nothing is easy for me

If you can think of any semi-unique group of words that were in one of the posts on the thread, do a site search and see what comes up.

edited because "words" has no "p" in it.

I can't help you find the thread but this site helped me a TON when I first started using HTML:

I found it!!! It's titled "What is the best free HTML editor?" It was on pg. 10 with last post 3/13/01.

Thanks again for your help. Now all I need is to figure out how to save it for future reference.

Hi Molly001....I don't know if anyone else has a better idea but I have a bookmark folder for AW MESSAGE THREADS and when I see one that I think I might want to follow...I click my bookmarks, click on "file bookmark in" and file it in that AW MESSAGE THREAD folder. Then I can go back and see if any thing else interesting has been posted. Eventually I delete it if its no longer an interest. Its worked great for me until someone comes up with something better.

minx47 - Thanks! D-U-H....why didn't I think of that? On some (other) boards, they have an option to email a thread (of interest)to a friend. That is a great feature because you can email the thread to yourself and just utilize the clickable link and go right to it at any time.

Hello molly001. You can have a thread sent to you on AW if you enter a post to the thread. All you have to do if you find a thread you want to keep is make a post in the thread and if you don't have anything to say just type "email on". Then put a check in the little box at the bottom of your post that says "email notification...". You can also turn this feature off if you get tired of receiving emails for every post to that thread by clicking on the link at the bottom of one of the emails.

I think I posted this one in that thread:

Mini HTML Guide

It was originally for bulletin board posts that accept HTML, but the codes work in your eBay auction descriptions.
