I just sold a widget to a newbie buyer with zero feedback. Mr. Newbie answered my congratulations email with his name and phone number(no address) and asked for my phone number and said he would send a check. Well, I thought about it for a while and I decided might as well since anyone with half a brain in their head could easily find my phone number on the web. So, I went ahead and emailed him my phone number. I also asked him why he needed my phone number and why he'd sent his. Tonight I received his response: Obviously, to prevent fraud.
