Hey, AW, what gives? I shouldn't have to get up from my computer and unload the dishwasher while waiting for my images (sometimes only two at a time) to upload. The problem seems to be the actual contacting of AW; once that's done (sometimes 10 minutes), the uploading goes quickly.

Now that we're paying, why is the service so slow? I only have one dishwasher, LOL.

Perhaps one of the many thousands of other happy paying users will be able to assist you?

roadsmith-what a comedian. It seems like all of the pictures on AW are taking forever. Go to the auctions on ebay and there are no pictures there either. Well I am going to eat breakfast and then come back and see what happens. I am afraid to list my auctions for fear the pictures are not there. Oh well, there will be better tomorrows (patients is a virture)

(patients is a virture)

Guess that means roadsmith is "sick" of waiting for it.

Well last time I searched there were all of 39,000 auction watch auctions on ebay. At that rate they must be making a whopping $278.57 a day for listing fees. At that rate they should improve their hardware so that these slow uploads will be a thing of the past in about 10 years.

I did a search and found 415,245 auctions with the word "AuctionWatch" in the description.

roadsmith; when I found days like that, I added the pictures to my PC version offline while I did the descriptions and preprared the batches. Then I synched it all at one time with the upload. At least while I was loading the laundry (which you can also do once you're done with the dishes)the upload was loading the batch with the pictures I needed to go with them. Sometimes I even get to fold (but no ironing).

Never mind--I was putting a space between the words. I get $407,000 with no space. That means they are making about $3,000 a day on fees. Again, it will take some time to upgrade hardware and software even at that rate.

After so much dancing in the streets by the happy thousands, I'm sure everybody and everything is probably all tuckered out by now!

Never fear, today's THURSDAY, and I hear they're having THAI during their CATERED LUNCH!

After this massive infusion of PROTEIN & GOOD CHEER, I'm sure AW & its cheerful & diplomatic minions will be all set to DANCE IN THE STREETS with us unce again!

Perhaps it is because I have DSL, but my uploads have been quite fast recently.

Actually, last night I composed a top ten list of things I can do while the images are uploading, including changing my estrogen patch and laying out tomorrow's vitamins, reading a good book, starting supper, etc. Lost my posting before I could list it so decided not to try to be cute. ~Adele

Roadsmith,

I took a look at our inbound traffic and show no deviation from the norm- things look ok on our end. You quite possibly have an issue with your ISP.

If you're familiar with tracerouting and can send me a traceroute from your end I could probably tell you more.

Hopefully things will just clear up on their own for you.

Regards,

Mark

Well I had a problem this morning. It took forever to load and I had no graphics so what I did went out and rebooted my computer and it straightened right out. Is there someone out there smart enough to tell me if I have something wrong with my hard drive or could it be my software all the store says to me is bring it back and we'll take a look at it, then they take forever. They seem to be no smarter than myself. I still have a guarantee on this thing and if it is the hardware it will go back to the store. Software is my problem.
