I had a buyer win 2 auctions the last week in Feb. Received email 4 days later that check was in the mail.

Received email 1 week after that, check was in the mail.

Emailed reminder about March 10th.

Received email the next day, "I sent check out today".

Started to email auction to a friend and found out he is NARU, so I emailed March 16th, If I don't receive check by Monday the items will be relisted.

He replied that check had been mailed but I probably wouldn't get it by then and he was very disappointed.

The items were relisted on the 20th. They have bids.

Today, I receive a check dated the 20th. Does he think I will stop the auction for him now?

I think I will just mail the check back and say thanks anyway. A shame really, his bids were higher than what I'm getting now.

Waiting 3 or 4 weeks to get payment is not at all uncommon.

Wait for the auction to close before you decide.

Or use Vranes Virtual Reserve tool. I will cancell the auction if bidding does get a fixed leve.

that's what I'm afraid of. I would really like to send them to him and get them out of the house, but, that check probably has more rubber in it than the sole of my shoes. I think I will wait 29 days before I mail it back though.

can anyone explain why he is NARU with 7 feedback, all positive? I couldn't even neg him because he is NARU

He may be NARU because he had three or more final fee value requests from different sellers, BUT those sellers opted not to leave feedback.
