Is there any way to sell on ebay without having a credit card? I have no use for credit cards, bank cards or any of these. I use cash, money orders, and cheques exclusively.

I don't know, as I've had the same credit card on file with ebay for over 4 years.
It used to be, and it might still be, they took checks or money orders mailed to them.
I had a freind who used to do that, it just took ebay longer to get to, or process her check. I haven't looked at the rules about this, since ebay seems to change daily. They still might take checks for payment.

Thanks for the link. It looks like I can't be verified unless I live in the USA. ebay makes it so hard for non-US residents to sell, and I have a lot of great stuff. Guess I will have to try yahoo

Hi, Juggheadd...
You're able to use a Visa or Mastercard check card (a.k.a. debit card) to sell on eBay, too. The fees would just get zapped from your checking account that way, and you could skip the ID verify process.
I'm pretty sure a Visa Check Card from outside the U.S. would work as well. Hope so--as a buyer, I love international sellers. Good luck and I hope it works out.

I have a friend that has been selling on eBay for 2 years and does not have a credit card. He pays eBay in advanace with a money order.

toolhound, the ID verify or credit card only, went into effect more recently. I think before that, anyone paying by money order or check were 'grandfathered' in.
Jugghead, well you could get your bank to issue you a bank card, like the others said, you can use a debit card, as long as it has the Visa or Mastercard logo on it.
You could just use it for ebay? just a thought. [email protected]

Thanks all.
I emailed ebay and they told me that for USA and Canada the only way I could sell is with a credit card. I do not want ANY kind of card from a bank (too dangerous for me!).
Looks like I won't be able to sell at Yahoo either. Guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that eventually bidville will get some buyers of stuff other than trading cards.
