I royally goofed an auction last night. My listing is a set of 4 bread plates. First pic (front of plate) is fine. Second pic (back & maker's mark) is wrong..back of saucer rather than bread plate. Both are from the same set of dinnerware and mark would be fine if all pieces were identical, but the set has different landscape scenes for each piece...soooo, scene on my b. plates doesn't match the maker's mark description on back of saucer.
To compound the goof, I described crazing on one plate incorrectly. I'd inspected and jotted notes on the condition of set earlier in the week. When I wrote description of b. plates last night, I was quoting from saucers. It was late, I was tired and in a hurry to launch the auction for ending last night. I guess my brain was Jello. I'm an old hand with eBay (not a newbie) and picky, picky always with thorough descriptions, pics and presentations. I simply botched this one.
I need revision instructions. I've added a pic to existing auction only once...months ago...don't remember how it's done. I've never made addendum to description...need instructions for that also. I clicked on revise on auction page and noticed I can *add or change images*. Can I remove the wrong pic?...How? My listing is hosted through AW.....yep, I'm still here.
This time I'll write instructions in my book. I remember it was a simple process. The pic url space in revision reads: http://www.auctionwatch.com/images/cleardot.gif Where do I go from there? No bids yet, so I'm clear there.

If you don't have any bidders yet, just go to the auction page and click where it says "revise" (underneath the shipping info). You can also then add or change your picture using the img src=http: etc.

Twilight Zone....
I feel like a kindergarten kid.
Need a hand-holding, step by step instruction.
What does img scr mean? image description?
On the revision page where http://www.auctionwatdh.com/images/cleardot.gif is showing, do I add a dot (.) after gif and type my *widget.jpg* pic name?
How do I delete one of the existing pics?
Still haven't a clue how to modify description. The description area is a bunch of gibberish.
My grown children and grandson taught me all I know on the computer...need more lessons
If I had time, I'd find that whiny crying face....waaaaa waaaaa

Oh dear, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were using AW for pic hosting! I'm afraid I don't know anything about that service.
Try posting on the AW Services board, I'm sure they'll be able to help you!

Thanks again, Joanne. I'll head to Services. I knew I probably should have posted there in the beginning. I just like it here better...more people, quicker help.
