While I saw the threads on eBay's tweaking, my searches were still working.

Now however I find that my link on all my auctions to my auction gallery IS NOT working.

If you use a personal auction gallery on eBay, you should check that your link is still working.

Cripes. Can anything else go wrong??? Thanks for the heads up. If I'm ever able to list again, I'll check. That Personal Gallery link has been a goldmine for me.

I'm on RoadRunner, so I'm taking a hiatus...

I thought that fixing this would be a simple matter of redoing the link but it seems that it is going to require more than that.

I get:

"Error
002 /ebaydesc: Can't open source file /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/ebaydesc: No such file or directory "

Help please.

Okay. I tried my link on a recently closed auction. I have no Gallery items up.

I got "Sorry, we couldn't find any GALLERY items for ......" It had my correct email address, which is what I use for my keyword.

It looks like my link is working, no?

Here's my link:

<center> <a href="http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&ht=1&query=MY EMAIL ADDRESS&srchdesc=y&category0=&minPrice=&maxPrice=&ebaytag1=ebayreg&ebaytag1code=0&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&SortOrder=%5Ba%5D&st=1
">Click here to view my items in the gallery</a>

Toke

That looks like mine but I get this silly error message.

Anyone know why?

The only reason to use the eBay 'gallery feature' is to make a personal gallery link via a search link. The problem is the descriptive searches are so flaky you end up with items missing or disappearing. Several services offer a better personal gallery that not only works better but looks better.

I know one seller that uses a 'title search' link for their personal gallery... they put characters like ~7q in the title, while it looks weird it does work. I still think a gallery offered by one of the auction services is a better option.

I agree with uaru. I use Auctiva and i'm extremely happy with it.
