I lost my Netscape....go to the start button click the button for the windows menu. Go to Find. There is a arrow there and a box will come out then click files and folders. Enter netscape temporary files and it should appear there. I hope you understand that. Why do you want to remove them?

Here is another way. Start to Program then to accessories, then system tools and then disc cleanup. From there you can view the temporary internet files. There are found on c drive. If you have a windows workbook it will tell you in there.

Hi Reddeer. While in the Netscape Broswer go to Edit > Preferences. Then click on "Advanced", then click on "Cache". It will tell you where the Disk Cache Folder is, usually C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\....

Thanks Libra, I don't want to remove them, I was hoping to adjust the amount of disk space allocated for these files.
I know how to go about doing this in IE [thanks to Blanche], but I have no idea how to do so in Netscape?

To adjust the disk space for these files go to "edit" "preferences" "advanced" "cache". You'll have to adjust both your memory and your disk cache. Memory clears as soon as you close the browser down, the other you have to manually clear, otherwise you get too loaded down and you'll load slowly. Typically the default numbers on both of these work just fine.

Reddeer: Netscape, a subject close to my heart. Don't believe it for a minute...When you clear the disk cache and other cache from Preferences Netscape you don't get rid of all of the junk.
I did a "find" for userXXX (my Netscape user id) and I found a file in the user folder that had a text file with all sorts of nasty critters written to my hard drive. Of course it said "Don't edit this file" but I deleted all of the junk and hit yes to save changes. All it did that could be considered awful was erase my home page URL which I re-entered the next time I opened Netscape.
If you do a find for temp you will get a list of the temp folders on your drive, or cookies, or whatever..
