My ISP crashed this morning around 10:00 am, it's now 3:30 Eastern time. There is no sign of them coming back to life (they say a fiber optic cable was cut between here and Atlanta), any time soon. I have auctions ending tonight at 10. Everything has bids, but not as high as I would hope. No one has been able to view my pictures this entire day. Should I cancel the bids, and end my auctions, or just count this as a loss?

Well since you made it online, is it possible to find a free image host for the day and upload photos to that and then add to the item descriptions? Its alot of work, but may be worth the time if you have it.
