Ugggh. I bod on some items in January. I sent Check a couple of days later. I emailed seller and she agreed she recieved it on Feb 7th and would shipo after 15 BUSINESS days , item would ship march 3, well march 3 comes adn goes so I email her again, she at that time posts on my feedback that Items will go out the 5th.It being the 5th I emailed her. No response, I emailed her 5 more times , No response. Finally She replied that her email was down and the items I had bid on had been spryed by her child witha bottle of bleach and she would be sending a refund.. I am not sure why she waited to tell me only AFTER i emailed asking where my items are. SHe is now Naru, and has TONS of negs fo either nonpayment of non sending bid on items. I have the cancelled check, Now aht is my recourse. It is not a huge amount of money ( 20.00) but now I get notice that this person is yet again selling under another name. I am so Mad , I want to do something but I am not really sure what I can do??
Help please.

If she has re-registered to rip off others in Ebay, tell Ebay so she can't get away with more scams.

I would inform the woman that I intend to take action. Filing for fraud through the Post Office sounds like a good start. I believe there is a downloadable form at www.usps.com. Filing with the police is another option.

It sounds like you have excellent supporting evidence (emails saying she received your check, emails promising your goods to be sent). And WHY on earth is she letting her child PLAY WITH BLEACH?? Bad mother as well as bad seller!

Good luck!

If you mailed the check, go to the USPS and file a "mail fraud" form. The seller will get a sternly worded leter from the USPS Inspection Service about the need for completing transactions that should make her cough up the merchandise (after she changes her undies).

I agree with Mivona and Abacaxi charges should be filed with the post office. I hope she was lying when she told you her child was playing with a bottle of bleach, that should be another investigation right there.

Thanks for the information.
I did file a report online with the postal inspector but wonder if I should probably get another at the post office and mail it to them or turn it in to my postmaster as it has been a while and I have heard nothing.

I think it was a lie about the bleach. She only told me this after she had said it was shipping. If they had actually been damaged with bleach I think she would have sent an email then not waited unitl I had emailed her. It is the same story she gave a couple of other ladies that had pending orders. The email copy I got from annother duped ebayer after she had been narud read something like " Oh, trust me I have been on ebay for years and still am" So I assume she has reregistered. I will keep you updated.
