Sunday night I had 31 auctions end between 6 and 7:40 PM. Amid the crashes and slowness, my auctions bottomed out. I requested credit out of frustration, but not really expecting to get it. I got this back tonight. Now if we just get relist credits from eBay, and AW gets our statements on line, I might just be a happy camper again!

Thank you for taking the time to write us. We are deeply sorry for the
recent site slowness and inaccessibility at times. We wouldn't have had
it happen for the world. Our goal is to provide an efficient, dependable
forum in which you can buy and sell. You have our deepest apologies and
strongest regrets.

As you can understand, eBay has been the pioneer for online auctions and
as such we are continuously out in front of the others ever pushing the
technology and features to ensure that our members have the very best
available. However, with new frontiers there is also the unexpected.

We are working non-stop to build eBay into a place where you can feel
secure and confident in your transactions. Our engineering, technical,
and customer support staffs are operating around-the-clock, and we will
not slow our pace until we've given you a site you can trust and be
proud of. That is our only priority.

I have requested credit for all of the items in your email. Unless there
are any problems, they will post to your account within 7-10 business
days.

Again, my apologies.

We appreciate your business and wish you every success with all of your
trading on eBay.

stamper3 - Keep an eye on your account page and make sure the credits are issued. The last time I requested credit, I kept getting replies that the credits would be applied within a few days, but they didn't show up. I had to write at least six times before they finally showed.

You got a canned reply. Good luck to you, but don't hold your breath. Ebay refused to admit it was a hard outage.
