In case some of you missed the announcement, there is no longer a Moderator's Corner. It passed slowly into history a few seconds ago. RIP.

I was in there reading a thread, went to go to the next page & suddenly found myself out on the street.

I didn't do drugs in college but for a minute, I wasn't too sure I wasn't having some out of body experience!

Let's do the time warp again!

Hi all--my long winded reply left at the Moderator's Corner that of course--was nixed.
Thanks be for the back botton and copy.

Hi Diana--what the heck is going on? I feel like an outsider looking in. So now the moderators corner is going to be history?

AW has been such a huge success. Why? Because buyers and sellers online felt like they had a true site to address their concerns.

Now with the moderator's corner history--AW is looking like so many wanna be sites.

MHO--you guys blew it with instituting the 1% FVF.

And today's rediculous idea that an auction could be mentioned and linked. Thank the stars you listened to your consumer base and nixed that lame brain scheme.

Are you guys grasping at straws or what?

When on god's green earth is an internet service going to be satisfied with what they are and what they have accomplished?

AW--you have been an invaluable conduit of info from sellers and buyers of the internet that may feel like they are buoys floating on the vast sea of internet and not sure what the heck they are doing. AW was our anchor.

Your moderator's corner has been an asset--whether you see it or not--of giving one person the power to question a moderation or alert the moderators of some unsavory comments.

My question to you AW--Where are you headed?

Squelch the small seller and their concerns?

Looks like it. And so be it. There are others that are ready to take your place as a buyers and sellers forum for on line auctions.

Your administrative decisions this last month have been very disruptive to little sellers that have supported you and promoted you to friends and family. And let's not go to the Web TV issue---how you have treated this enthusiastic part of the internet is down right shameful. Shame on you-AW. Webbies are a force to be reckoned with---they count--dang it!

Sounds like--the poop has hit the fan. Hope you have plan B&C.

Online is not constant--I realize this---but your changes are getting sorta spooky.

Regards, cavemanjohn

Hey Toke, nothing serious, just a .. Shazam, and then the whole page hit the deep six.

At least it stayed open long enough to get the new links idea nixed.

AW management sure is entertaining.

"Sounds like--the poop has hit the fan. Hope you have plan B&C." You have to be kidding, they don't have a plan A!!!!!!!

This is Diana's post from the RT

"In accordance with the Moderation procedure outlined in the AuctionWatch User Agreement, the Moderator's Corner is no longer required. We will be removing it shortly.

Information regarding a specific moderation call or suspension is available to the affected User by contacting [email protected] There is a link to the Moderator's email in the lefthand navigation bar as well.

If you feel that a moderation policy issue needs to be discussed, please email [email protected] and if we agree, we'll open a thread in the Round Table."

Undoubtedly the Mod Squad will be excited, they no longer have to go and stand in the Corner!

Bill

Well, I seem to have missed all of the excitement. Neil, your Eagle Scout tendencies are showing. LOL

It looks like we're all going to be moderated by THE NANNY. http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame12.html

So was this caused by "cost cutting measures" because not enough of us were stoopid enuff to sign up for the new AW "Pay" service?

Joice, Pat, Diana..I hope all of the best for you if this is the case....Marty, "last hired, first fired" (dang )
