I'm using outlook 97 and I've noticed that messages from the ebay contact system are really messed up.
It appears that when someone sends a message via the ebay contact form, my inbox chops the message in half. What I end up with is part of a message with a header (and therefore the sender's id) but no message and a message with message content, but no header (sender's id) info.
I think that the message format that ebay is using is using a double dash (--) somewhere in the message. That is an old code that email clients used to use to split a message.
I was wondering if anyone else was having similar problems. I've reported my problem to ebay.
If I only get one message like that, it's easy to figure out what goes with what. I'm concerned that getting multiple messages like that will be like trying to unscramble eggs.
