As an international user of paypal i am disgusted that i can no longer use paypals system to receive payments from my ebay auctions, this system whereby i could accept credit card payments to my visa card worked very successfully, then after some decision between paytpal and the credit card conglomerate, they just decided that payments had to be made to a usa bank account, and no longer to my card, could it be that all the paments were affecting the credit cardss interest prospects? as everyone who was using it would reduce their balances, well unitl someone can tell me different thats the way i see it, oh and did you notice you cant email paypal you havce to write via snail mail.

I think the problem was charges to a credit card often have to be made as chargebacks which can be fee heavy.
Just my thought.

You can blame paypal for a lot of things, but this was a demand from the credit card companys. Just set up a u. s. account in your bank. You can do this just about any where In the world. So you can carry on just as before.

PayPal is infamous for doing things that are obviously wrong.

You cannot pay someone money by issuing a credit to thier credit card. You are only allowed to issue a credit which has a prior corresponding sale.

CC companies don't charge anything for doing credits so they don't want someone using the credit capability for something that it was not intended.

If you check you'll see that Yahoo's PayDirect, CitiGroup's C2it.com still allow you to receive funds by crediting payments to your credit card. I imagine if they were moving the volumes that PayPal moved they'd be requested to cease that practice also. So PayPal had company in the practice.
