I am creating a piece of software that will allow you to generate the file that the USPS requires to do delivery confirmation at home. Would anybody pay a reasonable amount for an admittedly simple program?

I already have free online ability to print labels and eDelivery Confirmation. It is called PostalStreet.com and is easy to use, I don't have to download it, update it, debug it, or pay for it. My postal account executive even helped me set it up.

And it works great, so far. (Fingers always crossed about computer things....)

How much does it cost? Can they print postage?

Postalstreet.com seems interesting on the surface, unfortunately the surface is all that I can scratch. They do not have any sort of FAQ, service description, or anything else accessible from their web page that does not require an account name.

Any more info on this service would be appreciated.

Hi Vic! Could you fill us in on how that would work? I have a postage meter already, and I have ordered the delivery confirmation forms from USPS, but I still have to go to the post office so they can scan it. It would be great if I didn't have to do that! I agree it would be nice if that other site gave you more info up front. So litlux, is the eDelivery Confirmation a separate thing, or do you have to use it in conjunction with the labels? Do you print postage from there?

BAD SITE DESIGN!

http://postalstreet.com/prod/pgContactUs.html has some corporate info

[email protected] is their contact address

"The site not only automates the shipping process but provides such features as online tracking capability and management reporting. Please feel free to explore and utilize site to assist with all your shipping needs or contact us at 1-877-302-4842 ext. 6 to schedule an appointment with a consultant in your area."

As the site offers no useful information, I sugest you call and ask them what they could do for you.

"This Web site has revolutionized the way that customers do business with the USPS. It allows individual businesses the ability to create compliant shipping labels generated from a standard laser printer. The ability to print labels and attach postage in this environment is a significant change for businesses that have historically been required to fill out multipart forms by hand. The Web site not only automates the shipping process but provides such features as online tracking capability and management reporting."

A lot of marketing hype, few hard facts, and no pricing!

I checked out the PostalStreet website and it looks like they only deal with Priority and Express Mail, which I hardly ever use. You had to fill out a form so a customer service rep could call you with details, etc.
