Why do I get the feeling that this new "system status" section under Ebay's Community Overview, will be a much more clear indication of the contempt Ebay has for it's users.
What I mean is, we will be able to see much more clearly and specifically which parts of Ebay that Ebay admin. thinks are working and "available".
My guess is that when a certain "functionality" is NOT available, it WILL NOT be reflected on this status board, annoying users all the more. Before, when Ebay said they were mostly available (so no fees would be refunded or auctions extended) many tended to give the benefit of the doubt, since it wasn't easy to survey every function with any real certainty.
NOW they do it for us, making the facade all the more visible.

According to TAGnotes it doesn't look like those "green lights" ever change, no matter what problems are occurring!
