I have some old photos I want to list and noticed their are different categories like CDV, Tin plus others. I know nothing about these different types...is there anyone who can help me or tell me how to identify these types of photos...also there is one of a soldier..if anyone can help identify the time frame or war that would be nice.

I'm not a photo expert but here's what I think:
The first ones (165) look like either cabinet cards or CDV's. What size are they? Cabinet cards are usually around 4" x 6"; CDV's 2 1/2" x 4" or so. Portraits don't usually generate much interest unless they're of someone famous -- collectors look for unusual subject matter including pets, instruments, occupations, etc. -- but it's worth giving them a shot.
The second ones (166) are... I can't think of the term! I'm sure someone else will, though. You look at them through some kind of scope and get a single image.
The third ones (167) look WWI era to me, because of the uniform on the man and the hairstyle on the woman. That set is a neat one and I'd think it would do well on eBay. Uniformed soldiers and officers (or policemen, etc.) seem to be fairly in demand as far as old photos go.
Unless any of those are made of thin sheets of metal, they're not tin types (or ambrotypes or daguerreotypes).

Your firs two photos appear to be european CDV size photos of the 1880's, the next are sterio views, and the last is a WWI officer and his girl.
