Help me out-- I'm getting an eBay error and I figure my best bet for solving the problem is by having folks here help.
When I do a seller search for my eBay user ID (it's the same as my userID here), I get:
"Internal Error
If this problem persists, please notify Customer Service."
Same thing if I click on the "View Seller's Other Auctions" link from any of my auctions.
This is going on for two days-- I initially thought it was a problem for all sellers, but it appears that most don't have this problem.
So....could you:
1. Check your userID (Search:By Seller) and see if you get an internal error, or if it looks OK. You can do this even if you're a buyer, or a seller with no auctions up. It should return with a page that says: "Current auctions by ****."
2. Indicate in this thread if anyone else has this problem (this will help eBay isolate the reason, I suspect).
Obviously, this is affecting my page views, so I'm concerned.
Thanks!
Steve

Steve..I have had no problem bringing up my seller page from seller search nor have i had any problems bringing up the pages for both my sisters' ids.
Have you been putting your wife's vanishing cream on your face? (sorry..I couldn't reist it)
It does sound like a BIG problem...hope you find out the reason fast!

Thanks, Sharron...
I thought maybe it was the underscore in my userID (if I had to do it over again, I'd pick a different userID!), but I checked another seller with an underscore, and his is working fine.....
I've got an email in to eBay, but I bet I can solve it here faster with help from this crew...

Hmmm....I don't think it's my browser, Kitty- I can view seller's pages for others, and I'll bet others get the internal server error when they try to view my seller's page.....

Mine works fine but when I try yours I get the same Internal error message that you are getting.
So it is ebay's fault I would think.

Wonder what I've done to get this special treatment.....
Maybe we'll find another user in the same boat, and we can solve the mystery....

If I do a search of all your completed items the list comes up okay but not for your current ones.
If you click "no" on it the error comes up, if you click "all" it works okay.

Steve, when I tried your id i got that internal error message too.
I didn't get it the other day (a week ago or so) when I checked out what categories you put your stuff in...it pulled up your auctions just fine (ps..thanks for the "help" on that!)

Hi Steve,
Well, I don't think that it is your brower, as I just did a search on YOUR name and came up the the same error you did. I then went to you bidder page, which I was able to access and brought up your feedback page. I clicked on your auctions from there and got the error message again. Pretty much a mystery.
Can you access your My eBay page, and if so, can you access the auctions themselves? It just seems strange, that your bidder page is accessable but not your seller page, but that might give eBay something to go on.
Good Luck,
Anne

My "My eBay" page seems fine. And I've got about 90 auctions running- and I can access them from there (that's little help to my potential bidders, though)....
Interesting that my closed auctions show in seller search...
And my eBay gallery seems to work fine, so the search function for title and description seems OK:
http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&query=magazine%5Fguy&srchdesc=y&SortProperty=MetaNewSort&ebaytag1=ebayreg&ebaytag1code=0&ht=1&st=1
This has GOTTA be affecting the bottom line on my auctions....Arggh!

I use an underscore (wouldn't if I was starting over but that's another story)and my auctions are fine but yours don't come up for me.
No suggestions but throwing money at the eBay gods may work. It seems to be what they most want. Maybe feature page for a ten dollar item?
I didn't look, is there any talk on the major eBay Boards about others having this problem?

I just tried including my closed auctions in the seller search, as someone above noted, and it shows all my CURRENT auctions, as well! So they're in there, somewhere.....just that my customers can't find em....

When I try "view seller's other auctions" from one of your current auctions I just get the error message. Yes, it could affect your bids a lot.

Ok, just played around a bit and it is bizarre! If you click on some closed items it works and for others it doesn't.
If you click-----And-----------You get
No-----------any amount of items---error
1 day-----5 items-----------------list
1 day-----all, 25, 50 items-------error
Get the idea? You might want to play with it a bit. And you are right! This has to be killing your bottom line!
Hope this helps.

When I click to view other sellers auctions it says "ebay seller list (and the name of the seller)" at the top of my screen.
When I click on yours it says "ebay item bid history" so something is messed up there.

shaani,
You might want to try that again. Bid history is right above "view sellers other auctions" and you might have clicked it accidently. I'm getting an error when I click his other auctions.

Good point, stamper---
If I do a seller search, and sort by price, or list newest first, it works fine.
Very odd.

stamper3 I know kitties lick (I have two) so that is why it cracked me up.
I am talking about the blue bar at the very top of my screen. I tried it again and it has the "bid history" address (when the error page comes up after I click on "view other auctions" instead of the "ebay seller list" one.

at least it was a user-name-appropriate typo, as anne pointed out
steve,
how are you getting in to do a search by price?

Kitty:
When doing a seller search, there is an option to sort by price, or newest first, and so on. If I pick these options, it works fine.....
Sounds like a real isolated problem (just me!)....I'm not too hopeful that eBay will jump on this....

Shaani,
You are absolutely right! Sorry about that. That really is strange!
Steve,
Are you familiar with the Tech board at eBay? That is one of the few that the "pinks" actually show up on, but don't know if they are there this late. You might post over there and explain a little. Maybe post the URL to this thread and hopefully someone will take a look in the morning? Also don't know who is home at the Q & A Board at night, but they can sometimes be helpful.

Same thing with current price. If you put in more that 25 items, it errors out.
