I love the idea of eBay. I love having that audience for the things I sell. But lately, I've been getting those eBay blues.
Sunday March 25: a lot of the Left coast can't log onto eBay and I can't list anything. (I decide to try 5-day auctions starting that Tuesday.)
Sunday April 1: eBay ends all my auctions one hour early.
Sometime between those two dates: a news story about a guy who purchased a computer on eBay for his disabled son. He's out at least $250 even if eBay's insurance pays, which it says it will. He says he used to buy at least one item a week on eBay, now he's so burnt from the computer experience that he doesn't even go to the site.
While all of this has gotten me off the procrastination wagon as to starting my own website, and re-allocating the amount of stuff I list on eBay vs. what I put in consignment and on my site, somehow it just makes me sad. eBay is such a damned fine idea!
Then again, I might just have daylight savings time blues. Anyone else?

Sounds like the same kind of person who, when he gets a flat tire, says he'll never drive a car again.
