Hi, I had this bidder, who has a 2 rating, 3 positive, one negative and one neutral, he won one item from me Friday, he emails saying he wants my phone number so he can come over my house to pick up the item and pay in cash!
I told him no, I dont do that, nor did I say in my auction you can come over to my house. He emails again, saying give him my phone number I will come over to give you cash!!! I told him I work all day, I need time with my family in the evening, I dont need some stranger meeting me for a 5.00 item.
I didnt get a response from him, but instead he went ahead and bidded on 4 more of my items!! I emailed him immediatly saying does this mean I can send the item to you by mail, but its been 2 days and no response!!!
This guy worries me, and would like to cancel his bids, but do I have to email safeharbor first before i cna do that? Also how do I prevent him from bidding on my stuff again? Anyway you cna blacklist him? Any advise would help! thanks!

---if he is insistant and just won't back down--find a neutral spot where he can pick it up. We use a local bookstore for that.
First of all, he is not abiding by your TOS. No one has the right to invade your privacy. Depending on when the auctions are ending, I would email him one more time and explain again that personal pickup is not an option, and that as much as you regret it, if you do not hear from him within a given lenghth of time (your timeline) that you will be forced to cancel his current bids and notify Safeharbor. If he does not comply, cancel the bids and send him a notice that he is no longer welcome to bid on your auctions. You must also CC it to [email protected]. If he should bid on your auctions in the future, notify Safeharbor and he will be suspended.

Also remember, you don't owe anyone an explanation of your reasons for not wanting to have him come over and pick it up.
Just keep saying no. Cancel his bids, could be a bunch of negs just waiting to happen. Sheesh, some people!

Send this bidder an email informing him that he is not welcome to bid on any of your auctions and make sure to send Safe Harbor a carbon copy. That way you are protected by them when you cancel this persons bids. If they persist in ignoring you Safe Harbor will Naru them.
