On March 7th, an auction of mine ended. The high bidder at that time had a positive FB of about 15. She had not paid for her auction in 21 days, even though my terms require 10 days. I emailed her using the soft approach with no response, so I tried the more forceful wording in my next email. She ignored both emails. With this in mind, I filed a NPB notice with ebay about 3 days ago.
Today, I checked my email for a response from her and found nothing. I check her bidding history and found she now has 19 positive and 1 negative for nonpayment. Next to her 19 is (not a registered user).
I'm wondering if this person (an AOL user) closed her account and moved on to another one? Can I still NEG her for nonpayment, and get my FVF?
You can still file for your FVF's - but if she's NARU'd, you won't be able to neg her . Chances are, she did not NARU herself, but other sellers probably filed for their FVF's instead of leaving her NEGS. After she gets I think 3 FVF warnings from sellers I believe that automatically gets her NARU'd.
But still file for your FVF's! She may also be only on a 30-day suspension so check back in a few weeks and if she's back to being a registered user, you can then NEG her!

I believe you don't EVEN HAVE to be able to leave a neg, in order to file for the FVF refund .... certainly what i've come across before...

Thanks for the great advice. I follow the rules outlined by ebay and the sellers when I bid. So in turn, I expect others who bid on my auctions to follow the rules also. I will check back to this bidder's buying history in 30 days. Then I'll NEG her if she's back on. I don't like being burnt.
