My Bidder is being a little difficult. He says he sent two money orders. I have gotten the first money order and sent the product out.
Now this is were the problem begins. He kept asking me if i had sent the other product, when i asked him if you had sent a seperste money order for the second item in an email. he ignored the question ..and emailed back a letter basically telling me to send the item. I again asked him...he told me he had put a trace on the money order and it had been cashed ,He also stated that "he went to is local postal office and asked about the letter and the post office" (he says) they told him i had recieved the letter. Now i think he is lying about the letter because his first money order came regular mail. Is there a way to trace a letter if iy's regular mail???
I have gone threw my records over and over thinking maybe i have made a mistake and i have come up with NO i have not cashed or received the second money order..
The letter i am getting from this seller are short not to the point and not very helpful at all. he has threaded to leave negative feedback
I have asked him to produce a carbon copy of the second money order and he keeps ignoring that as well!!!
He says he has gotten a trace...is there anything i can ask from the trace he got ???

Got a trace on the money order? or the letter?
I don't think there is anyway he can trace a normal letter unless its certified ( meaning you had to sign for it)
MO traces takes awhile to do. Plus the buyer has to pay a fee to do it. But he can call to find out if it was cashed.
I would still press on him to give you a copy of the MO. Ask him for the MO# so you can call on it yourself to see if it was cashed.

Sounds to me like you're about to get negative feedback?
If you didn't sign for the letter, there's no way for your buyer to know whether it's been delivered, or not. If they are also refusing to provide you with a CC of the MO they sent, well, I guess you know where this one is heading.
Also, I believe the USPS will not trace an MO until 30 days has passed? If the MO came from their bank etc, then I have no idea?
Last but not least, just because the MO was cashed, does not mean that YOU cashed it.
I would want to see some solid proof from the buyer that it was you that cashed the MO, and not some theif south of the border.

he is BSing you to try to bully you into sending the second payment. Tell him you haven't received anything and you will send the 2nd item when you receive payment. Period.

Apparently your request for him to establish a simple carbon copy or stub of the money order he supposedly sent you seems doubtful at the moment because:
A. He never sent you a money order.
B. His letter was lost in the mail.
C. He mailed it to the wrong address
In order to run a trace on a money order I do think you're required to have a tracing number, thus a carbon copy or stub.
Hmmmmm, sounds like a catch 22 scenario to me, obviously this buyer lacks common sense and is unwilling to resolve this dispute in a sensible manner.
Don't give in to his demented demands, hold your ground.

this is the letter i am going to write him???
Hi! Then I have not received the second money order for the second item.
Please put a trace on this money order Not a phone call to the money order comapny. If as you say in your other letter's it's been cashed, the trace will show it has not been cashed by or company EAST TO WEST
I am an honest bussiness person, please remember i took the time to call ...gave you my 1-800 to call back to the young man on the phone . Told you that the item had gotten damaged in the office...I gave you a selection of the whole web site to pick a mirror...over 20 styles...for the damaged one.
Then you ask me about the second mirror and you treat me like i am trying to pull the wool over your eyes. I have been very open to you, to the point of sayng maybe you sent one money order and I missed the second item on the one money order.
You have now informed me that there are two money orders...I have asked you to provide me with a copy of the second money order twice,
At that point please provide me with the info .......threw the trace via fax......my fax is 1-604-524-4433....please also provide a copy of the money order ...carbon
I as well have looked at your feedback and see that you have very good feedback, it seems you have conducted yourself very well in the past
