Just wondering how many days I have from last day of auction to leave feedback on a seller. Thanks.

It used to be 60 days, but now ebay changed it and now it's "at least" 90 days. You can leave feedback for as long as the auction is still in the database, which will be at least 90 days.

Thanks, ExecutiveGirl. That leaves me ample time for seller to come through on a refund I'm requesting for a piece of junk s/he sold me.

If it's up to 30 days, you can do it in the auction page that you can access through your bidding/watching page in my eBay. After 30 days, you have to go to the Feedback Forum (I use that anyway, since you can leave feedback for everyone at the same time instead of doing just one at a time from the acution page itself). You can also access individual auctions for at least 90 days if you search for it by Item Number.

Without eBay, I might have a real life...

There is a link in the feedback forum that is specifically for leaving feedback for auctions that are older than 90 days. You have to provide the auction number and the person's userid--so hold onto that info because Ebay will not provide it after that long. Then you fill in a fairly simple form. Then the feedback appears. At that point, it becomes a regular looking feedback comment, meaning that the user can respond or leave feedback of their own for you. So be prepared for that, too. I don't know the upper time limits for this form. I used it for a transaction that was about 100 days old. Good luck.

ebay say 90 + days...

http://pages.ebay.com/help/basics/f-feedback.html

"We strongly encourage you to always leave comments about a specific buy or sell transaction within 90 days after the end of the auction. eBay guarantees that all items will be available on our system for at least that period. After 90 days, you can still try to send in feedback, but items may be removed from our database without prior notice. If that happens, you will not be able to leave feedback."

If it is now 120 days... I would like to know where on eBay that number has been announced.

There was a post on the eBay Announcement Board a few months back stating that feedback could be left up to 120 days. I had the post in my archives but it appears it may have been lost when my HD crashed 2 weeks ago?

I'll look again ..........

Another way you can kind of test this is to go back on the feedback that you have left others and the feedback left for you.

Mine will bring up auctions back to about Jan. 18th by checking this way. Of course this may not be a very good theory as it depends on when payments came in and when feedback was posted, etc. and if you ran auctions steady.

I just tried this with two sellers that list almost daily and leave feedback first. One seller's auctions go back to Jan 04 and the other to Jan 06.

I just tried this with a seller who has a shooting star. I can only go back to auctions that ended on Jan 01.
