I found out about Holt Howard pixieware only recently, when I read a couple of old threads here on AW. Just for the heck of it, I did a search on eBay a few days ago and there was an extremely rare "Goo" sundae bowl that just closed for $1,825.00!!!!! I'll bet THAT seller is doing the happy dance!!
This collection really is cute (in a sort of ugly, kitschy, oh-so-50's sort of way), but I can think of any number of better things I could do with that kind of money!

Lotsafuzz, I considered posting when I found it, but I hesitated because of the AW restrictions on identifying individual sellers, bidders, or auctions. This was so easy to find that I figured anyone interested in Holt Howard would already know about it.
I also checked the closed auctions and saw other astronomical prices. I'll bet these things have been thrown out or sent to the Salvation Army and Goodwill in droves by people who have no idea how collectible and valuable they are!

We've been seen selling these cute guys for years now!
Three years ago we got $1200 for a HH Honey Jar, but the prices have come way down for some of the pieces, be very careful about buying expensive ones to make a buck or two, because that may be all you make!
Anyway, have fun with them - they are joy to look at.
