It's never been a problem to identify closed auctions.

And, the bidder in question was not the winner.

The thread itself was discussing an auction ID from a bidder you ultimately decided to cancel. Specific discussion of sellers and bidders is prohibited under the Community Guidelines and auction User IDs are considered private information.

By posting your auction ID and specifics, you provided enough info to identify the bidder in question so the thread was locked.

Perhaps it was because we could see all the people who had bid.

BTW, I must say it was a bit of a let-down. After all that build-up I expected something x-rated or nasty.

Ok. That makes a lot of sense to lock the thread and not let me edit the post then, right? Just leave it there. Yeah, makes a lot of sense.

We spend a lot of time watching the Movie of the Week too.
