Hello......I was a trader and went off looking for better when AW started charging a FVF....Well....Here I am...crawling.....back....I've had it with the "other " versions.....I'm back with lesson learned.....The "other" sites showed promises...but just not in time for me....and wishy-washy ......So....Here I am with tail between my legs...ummmm....and....I need to know if when I transfer my auctions that are active back to AW...Will I be charged a FVF on those auctions that were posted through a different "other" program ....?....This is important to me....as....it's hard enough waddling back to "Mom & Dad" (AW)....and really need some confirmation and support here.....I hope people who have had "other" experiences...(without naming them)...could write back and let me know that I'm NOT alone here....

Experience comes from trying. If you didn't try, you wouldn't have any experience. You tried, it didn't work out & there's no shame in that.
You don't have to crawl back, you can walk back proudly with your head held high because you were WILLING to try. That's a whole lot more than many people are willing to do.

Really?? I don't list thousands of items, but I really enjoyed learning a little html, doing some investigation and love my "new look" - load fast, look nice, decent pics, scheduled in advance and no drop in sales! I far prefer to restrict my payments to services that actually help my sales - Ebay (brings buyers), my ISP (my lifeline & usually pic host)and once in awhile to electronic payment services (higher bids).

Thank You to "All" of you for reading and replying to my Honesty.......Switching and trying "other" ideas helped me see that "FOR ME"...I need to take the easier softer path....Just this week I have been diagnosed with MS.....I am run down from fighting....trying to learn "other" programs and keeping up with the "NOW" is enough for me...I need my sales income from Ebay....and if AW needs to crack a hunk of me off in order to stay afloat....then so be it....I'll pay the dues.....I have tried to list at least a hundred items a week....and would like to continue with this job.....and..."I will take the "good with the bad".....and allow life to be simple...with NO big deals.....YES...NOW AW will be getting a slice of me...but...heck it's omething to do before I die...and I'm hoping AW will make "Less Bid Deals"...in my life...Thanks Again to all my fella Worker's....Lor

I just want to say to you, jewels2go, that I wish you must success in the challenging road before you. My step-aunt was recently diagnosed with same. She'll soon be moving to a care center near Seattle that is part of a research facility there for MS among other things. It was that same research facility my grandpa went to in the late 1950s for cobalt treatments for brain cancer. He was cured and lived for another 20 years. I am hoping they'll one day be able to do the same for MS patients.

I offer my best wishes to you.
I don't understand why some people fail to see why others choose to do things different from the way they choose to. We all have to make our own decisions according to the way things are going in our own lives.
I think you have made a good choice (for you) to return to AW. And I admire you for having the guts to say so. I remain here also and for my own reasons.
Please take care.

Jewels2go: Welcome back, kiddo. You are in my prayers.
I considered trying to find another site and figure out how to launch through that avenue, but right now my life is complicated enough that I don't want to add any more stress to it. (Just busy, not sick or such.) So I've stuck with AW - so far. ~Adele

I Thank You all who have read, felt, responded and cared.....It's nice to have a "home"....and that home needs to be comfortable....I feel very "comfortable here with all of Aw reader's and workers....I know that alot of people come and read posts because of the wonderful advice and lessons shared....even people that are NOT posting with AW....but I also know that this message center gets and gives so very much to all who are in any need....Thank You all for your support and thoughts for me...I go in the Hospital this next Thursday (12th) for my spinal tap...Maybe I will get some Ice cream afterwards....Due to Ebay messing up with the time changes I have auctions that are now ending that same day...Funny how things just "happen"....I guess it all goes to show that we aren't in control....I hope the very best for all...thanks again..Lor.....

Jewels2go you are in my prayers. I too am back - tonight is my first night and I thought I'd check the message board for news I might have missed. I tried several other listing sites and am so frustrated. I was feeling that "crawling back" feeling myself when I saw your post. I was dignosed with Fibromyalsia and cronic Fatigue syndrom and can't believe I put myself through so much stress learning other inefficient programs over a lousy 1%. Best of luck to you and welcome back to us both.

WOW! I've been away for so long! Been too busy to even check the message boards. I'm still doing my own thing with photo hosting through my FREE ISP webspace. Learned some great html codes to make my auction templates and have really been having fun making my own "look" for my auctions. Only once has my server gone down to where my pics were missing for an hour or so... but I had that happen elsewhere a few times too... I still appreciate all the free time AW gave me... but I have spread my wings and flown!

I'm happy to hear that people are able to find what works best for them.....Working on-line selling items through auctions is NOT as easy as one may think it is.....There is "alot" to learn and do just to start things out let alone make it an income....Finding out what works best for ourselves is alot like having a favorite color......but then again it's all in "the eye of the beholder".....I am very grateful that I am NOT colored blind and that learning whats works best for me I'm able to share here at this forum....The best to all...and Thanks to all....Lor
