"Newbie" (with shades) won an auction yesterday - quite expensive - at least in my book - she only placed one bid towards the end and so, of course, she got it! Send her WBN with all info needed in it - so I get 2 e-mails from her this morning - saying she can't get the BidPay or another one to work out for her - something about not knowing where to put her CC info...BidPay, etc. was not an option - on BillPoint or PayPal - so then the next e-mail says the same thing, except this time she says BillPoint and PayPal. Says she's "new" (however - she has the shades) and to please be patient with her, because she doesn't know how to "do" the PayPayl, etc. "thing". So, I e-mail her back and ask her does she want me to send her a BillPoint invoice - so anyway, I just go ahead and send her one...have not heard back from her yet or received the payment - not worried about that yet, because it's way early - but anyway, what do ya'll think will be my chances of getting payment on this item? Will be interested in hearing from ya'll - Thanks again - Lee - CFTC

You accept money orders, but BidPay is not an option? No wonder the buyer is confused.

I accept BillPoint, PayPal, Money Orders and Cashier's Checks - that's in all my auctions and also in the WBN. If "newbie" is new - would they really know all about BidPay, etc.? Just wondering - anyway, she was saying that she didn't know how to fill out the information area for her CC on those pages - Duhhh? I had another buyer like that on YooHoo that "couldn't figure out" how to do the PayPal invoice - even after I sent her an invoice - she ended up being a deadbeat...

I had one, first buy on ebay, couldn't figure out paypal, didn't want to buy money order, she finally sent the money Western Union. It cost her $36.00 to send it! Go figure!

I thought it was just me <g> It seems like there are TONS of newbies with shades out there bidding and winning on my auctions. Absolutely no problems though and I'm glad to see them, they LOVE to bid!

Hi. Sidetracking a bit... I think that "'Newbie' With Shades" is redundant. I have yet to see a real newbie without shades. (You get 'em automatically when you first sign up.)
