Pal wants to sell his Szamboti. Thinks it is worth mimimum $20,000. Ebay solds show cues @ $1500 reserve not met and I find them on the web priced at $12,000.

Is he out of range here? Have prices plummented?
The cue was custom made for him and he is 6'7"... does anyone know how to reach Michael Jordan?

Generally, these cues start at $6,500.00 and up. $1,500.00 is way low.

Thanks computerboy - the cues on ebay did not meet reserve.

Is a newsgroup the way to go?

kc -

No, this is my first husband. Shack Man is my middle husband.

First husband - serious pool cue
Middle husband - serious stereo

John Prine, eh?
One time I was at a party at this Aquarian gal's house and she put on one of his albums.
She started singing.
I started singing with her.
She was kind of flabbergasted.
Neither of us sang well, but we did sing loud and we sang every word of both sides of the album with great drama and it was an hour of living I will ever forget.

Well I didn't think anybody caught that!
I like all those folky type song writers, he was real young when he wrote most of that material, just good stuff! A friend of mine and myself entered a talent contest at a club one time many years ago, our first and only number was "Illegal Smile" they damn near killed us. We still laugh about it today.

That's the thing about John Prine.
You just got to be amused.

I know there is someone around here who knows the cue marker.
Keith? Is it you?

Thanks
