They've been switching it on and off all day, but now it seems permanent, at least for me.
Persoanlly I don't like it. The grid format is too "busy" and hard on the eyes.

I hate it. I like to see green, not black. I like to see all my auctions on one page. This new format will take some getting used to...

I HATE it ~ all day I constantly check my total bids & amounts to see if I have any more ~ it's been so much fun. This way, I have to scroll through a minimum of two pages trying to add up the bids, amounts, etc....and I agree, it's way busy on the eyes. Grump!

I like to look at my list of auctions and see the grand total go up and up throughout the week. With 25 item to a page it only gives page totals. I've tried to find a way to increase the items per page but haven't had any luck.

OK- I give up. What is it that everybody is looking at that's different? My "My eBay" looks the same as always.

You can change the setting on your my- e-bay page so you can view all your auctions at once.
I like it much better that way.

The number of auctions shown on a page can be changed, *if* you get luck and get to the "new" preferences page. I hit it about 10% of the time. The problem is that by increasing the number of auctions also increases all the other fields (i view "all" , including feedback. In other words, if I increase it to 200 I get to see all of my auctions at once, but it also has to load (slowly, even with a T-1) my last 200 feedback entries.
eBay... this is not ready for prime-time!

Does anyone know WHY they did this?
Better is the enemy of good enough.
If they want to keep the engineers busy, why don't they figure out how to make my auctions searchable in less than 40 HOURS!

Even though I changed my settings so I can view 100 auctions on a page as opposed to 25, I still don't like the grid format. It makes everything rather hard to follow or keep track of I think. I loved seeing the green figures - the bold black isn't quite as thrilling.
Does anyone know if maybe we can have the choice of using either the old or the new format?

I was thinking the same thing that you can only view 25 items at a time.I like to see all as I have over 125 running right know.
It has been bouncing back and forth all day.
I like the bottom of it where it tells you what was sold that day or week.Plus you can leave feedback and also send a billpoint invoice.
I only wish it could combine multiple items for a Billpoint invoice under one buyer.

There's other bad news about the new My ebay - it is totally incompatible with Webtv and its 1,000,000+ users, bidders and sellers. The page comes up with all the print scrunced into an unreadbale mess in the left hand column. That means they can't see what they have on their "watch" list to bid on, or to see in one screen if any of the active bids have been outbid, etc.
5% of my customers are Webtv users. 1 out of 20, and that's a lot of business to put in jeopardy for an unasked for and obviously unpopular change to a valuable feature. And the ebay status for My ebay is listed as ok despite a million users not being able to see it.

For those that don't know go to Preferences/
Set-Up on your "My Ebay" page and you can change the number of "Items I'm Selling" up to 200 if you want to see that many on one page.

So far I like it. I do like green better than black, but that should be easy to change.
I wish that eBay would take some of their programming talent and put it on the monthly invoice for sellers.
The eBay monthly invoice for listed items ahs to be the most poorly designed invoice that I have ever. I like the new changes thay are making to the selling, bidding and watching pages. I wish they would put the same programmers to work designing a new monthly invoice page.
I would like to see the monthly invoice and charges oriented to each item that had been listed, instead of oriented towards a date like it is now. In other words, show the Item title and Number, then show all charges for that item underneath. Then show next item, etc.
Today, it is a nightmare to try and figure out all the charges for a single item

kraftdinner-
I've been playing around with it, and I found that if I click the "Selling" tab, it looks like what everybody here is describing, but if I click the "All" tab, it looks like it always did, with everything on one page.

The ALL tab just gives me info I don't want (bidding/watching etc.) and still only returns a total on the first 25 items.
When you say the ALL tab gives you the old layout are you running less than 25 auctions?

To change the default 25 listings per page you have to click "Preferences/Set-Up", change the total (up to 200) and be sure to click "Save Changes", then click "Save Changes" again on the next page.
This new grid is horrible. The FORMER field was much, much, much, much clearer, compact, and easier to read.
I guess some overpaid, know-it-all eBay MBA redesigned the page to make work for himself and justify his job's existence. It certainly would have been nice had eBay ASKED FOR USER OPINIONS before making this stupid change....or AT LEAST give us the option of using the old page rather than the new one.

Well, an hour ago, the "All" tab showed 207 (open and closed- last 30 days) auctions in the old format, but just now, it is showing 25 auctions in the new format, so I guess I'm updated like everybody else.
How do I like it? I don't know- I never really use My eBay anyway, so I guess I don't have a preference.

After trying to figure this new change to My E-bay, I'm starting to really like it, it makes it a lot easier to leave feedback and relist items, plus it shows you who the winning bidders are, this is a big help with multiple winners. I have about 60+ auctions going. Since I dumped Auction Watch, I think this will be a great help, for managing auctions, give it a chance. I just wish they had a way to do scheduled launches..hint, hint....

Change is a GOOD thing - I keep telling myself. So far my main complaint is that it comes up slower. I tried changing the preferences, didn't help much.
They didn't do any favors for those of us with old failing eyes like mine. The lavender backgrounds make it harder to focus, and don't really add anything. Not exactly a work of art.
