I am having the same problem! But sometimes if you get that message and hit search again-the listings come up. Doesn't always work but maybe worth a try.

I just had the same problem. I haven't run any of my "favorite searches" in a few days, I just ran them and kept getting no results. Then I noticed that the categories are all different from when I first saved the searches! My gosh, you can't find anything any more.

For example, bottles, which used to have their own category under Collectibles, are now in Collectibles:Housewares & Kitchenware. In addition, they're broken out into Pre-1900 and Post-1900. I haven't looked at any of my other favorites, I'm afraid to. Newbies are going to have a heckuva time finding their collectibles *sigh*

WOW! Thanks for the heads-up joanne. I just listed a few Wheaton (repro) bottles and now they have their own catagory. I just had them under pottery/glass.

Hmmm... After I went and changed my 4 auctions' catagories, I checked to see what other bottle listings are in "wheaton" and it shows NONE!! Must be new...

Just your basic bump..so, not only should we check what category (called crack) our stuff fell in, we may not be searchable, either?? How are every ones sales today?

Last night I tried going into a category, entering a key word, and then, completed. I would get a completed list for all of ebay with the key word, rather than just for the particular category I started in.

When I went to the ebay announcement page, buried in one of the announcements was something stating that search was indexing and might not be up to speed. Even though the green light was green for search

What eBay didn't tell you is those green status buttons are hard-programmed.

They don't know how to turn them any other color, even if they wanted.

It's just another one of those technical glitches that they're working on.

Well, normal search seems to be working after a fashion. Completed search is definitely buggered though. It is only showing items that closed since yesterday.

I guess eBay figured that on a holiday weekend nobody would notice......
