As a seller I don't care if something gets a bid in the last 2 seconds, or the first 2 seconds for that matter, as long as we receive payment for the dang thing I'm happy. Seem like I get a few people a week asking if I'm going to relist something they forgot to go back to the auction and place the bid on. If I see something I want I usually place a minimum bid and back it up with a snipe bid to keep from loosing it should I not be around to bid at the close, but that's me.
any sellers try adding it to there auctions?
as a buyer would you not place a bid on an auction if you saw a snipe button thinking that you would probably be out bid at the end of the auction? or would you still bid, and would you be more likely to place a bid using the snipe option or the conventional way?

I would NEVER put a snipe button in my auctions. I believe it would scare away a lot of bidders who don't snipe, keeping bidding to a minimum. While I love Snipers, I want them to have to snipe a decent amount at the end.

I would probably not bid on an auction that had a snipe button because I would not expect to win it anyway. If I wanted the item badly enough I would bid, but would not use the button.
