Just got hit with a spam for the new and improved (yeah, "improved" collectibles category from eBay's hired spamvertiser, DESPITE my preferences being set to NO SPAM.


I've noticed a pattern ... every time they make a major change to the site, they pretend to "lose" the preferences so they can advertise it. Then they say "Oops, we have reset them for you so it should never happen again." And it doesn't, until the next time.

They are either lying or incapable of managing a large database. Or both. Both sounds good.
