.....the only way to save your relationship & sanity is to QUIT your corporate job after 10-1/2 years; find a suitable building; pack up ALL the collectibles and "junque" to move to the new building; and open your own antique store so you can KEEP on buying MORE!!!

Finally left corporate-kill-me-slowly-America and on Friday morning at 9:30, THE PACK RAT'S ATTIC Antiques & Vintage Toystore will open in Pensacola, Florida!!
hApPyDaNcE!!!
Still haven't been able to figure out where ALL the stuff at the store really came from, but the other half has ASSURED me that it WAS in the house!!!

I love the new "work" schedule too:

sleep in until 7:30....drink a cup of coffee or two by the pool...play with the kitten...swim a few laps for exercise...get to the store by 9:20 & open at 9:30....log on to eBay to search out a great deal and PLAY WITH MY TOYS ALL DAY!!!

Yep....me thinks me is gonna LIKE this!!!
Same Kawfee-n-Junque as on eBay...I aint afraid of who I am!

WOW, Florida! Congrats on your big move, I'm sure you'll be much happier. We folks are all too crazy for corp anyway.

Too bad I'm on the west coast, would love to visit & see what bargains there are for re-sale on eBay (LOL!!)

de ja vu? Lets see here, Kawfeenjunque, I am Lattefor2 same name as on ebay also, left corporate America also, moved to Florida East Coast many years ago, opened up a store got more junkque I mean nice things to play with. Opened up yet another store, last year my husband needed 2 serious surgeries He is doing fine now.) Sold one store kept one, started ebaying, His second surgery demanded a lot more of my time and my support. Closed that store and now I am ebaying at my time and pace and love it.The only diference is I do the pool at the end of the day. Don't forget to get some good fishing in, never thought I would do that either. Good for you It is a big step, it can be done. love to get over to the west coast, may suprise you. Feel free to email at any time.
Oh, If you think you are really going to miss your friends, if you are from up north, don't worry, they will find you this winter, and will be most happy to visit and spend time with you, a lot of friends a lot of time. LOL. (this is true)
