We've suffered down time today for about 8 hours from our ISP. Has anyone else noticed delays or lags? I've also noticed eBay post in the announcements that feedback etc. are experiencing problems tonight. (EST) Reports appreciated. Thanks.

I've had hours/days of ISP and Email trouble. It began a month ago...still screwed up. I have taken many nasty comments from customers. No negs yet..knock on wood..

I just went on high blood pressure meds to relieve the stress of constant down time for weeks. I have done everything one can do to fix it. Phone company has been here two times to check the lines. ISP has at least five modem checks on their end from me. Now that I hear others are having problems I am somewhat relieved as I was ready to throw my new Windows NT workstation out the window.
I would like to hear more details. My ISP has had me jumping through hoops for several weeks.

One way to avoid this problem, is to use a web based email address (I like Hotmail) and use Juno for free as a back up ISP.

Thursday's update. Still slow...
I posted 66 auctions on Ebay Last Thursday and have 3 hours to close. I always have a high sell rate of at least 80% or more with multiple bids on many. Today I have 7 single bids out of 66. Also my numbers of hits are very low.
My email is not working at all, in fact I can't access the mail server from Outlook Express. That will be a problem when the auctions close. I also have a Yahoo mail and a family member has Hotmail and both are slow to download.
I have a Web site that I can't manage and several orders have been placed and Billpoint has not sent the invoice to my customers that I made out two days ago.
I had a computer designer tell me he thinks that all the layoffs are making maintence at the various websites and ISP's difficult... Interesting theory, anyone else have any ideas what's going on?
